Open Hands Overflowing Hearts is a parter of Children’s of Alabama, and we are committed to funding research for childhood cancer. When our founder, Kayla Funk, was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma in 2013, we discovered that childhood cancer research receives less than 5% of federal cancer research dollars, and we decided to help. By supporting cutting-edge research in the Birmingham community, we will not stop until a cure has been found.
